I joined an event as a volunteer at Mall Ciputra Jakarta.

The event named "Pengetikan Ulang Buku dengan Format Huruf Braille untuk Tuna Netra" dengan Peserta Terbanyak - 500 Peserta

This event was held by Teach For Indonesia Binus University, Yayasan Mitra Netra,  Fellowship of Netra Community and Mall Ciputra Jakarta

Actually, there are 602 volunteers joined this event ! Big Wow! Whole day, from 07.00 AM till 05.00 PM

Drop Inn Hostel - Best !

Till now, I feel that I'm so lucky because I've found this hostel for my stay at Singapore. At the first, Drop Inn was not at my list when I searched for hostels which were on the hostel booking site. But, I don't know why Drop Inn was chosen by me :p Just fall in love at the first sight with its website and its icon, you can check the website at here : Drop Inn Website :) But I made the booking on hostelworld.com

The location of Drop Inn is just around the corner from Little India and only across the street from the nearest MRT station (Boon Ken MRT Station).

I arrived there at Thursday 23 Aug'12 around 11 AM and made a check in, but I forgot to ask the receptionist for the keycards. Yes, the keycards. I feel secure because they have keycards that issued to you, the keycards is for limit the entry to Drop Inn only to guests and staff. I got the keycards when I back to the hostel at night, fortunately the receptionist was still there so I could enter the hostel and ask for the keycards.

My Room - Basic 6 Bed Female Dorm

The rooms are relatively clean and well kept, air is fresh and luckily I got the rooms that were just left by two guests on that morning :) So I got the room that was spacious, comfortable, and quiet to sleep in :) There was an air conditioning and a fan in the room and the point plus is the lockers for each person is free of charge !

Drop Inn

It was great that I still could access internet although I didn't bring my laptop and I didn't use roaming for my cellphone. There were 4 netbook at the living room, you can use it without charge :) or you can ask for the wi-fi password if you want to connect internet with your cellphone.

Drop Inn is quite clean and the facilities is as seen in the web site, nice !

Drop Inn Bistro

You can get free breakfast at Drop Inn Bistro every morning (8 Am - 10AM). Drop Inn Bistro is at the other building which is near to Drop Inn, 2 buildings next to Drop Inn.

Inside Drop Inn Bistro

Another great thing about Drop Innis either the owner or the receiptionist and the housekeeper are sooo great and super friendly ! Especially Mustafa, he is taking care of everything, he is a cool friend that I met there, he also showed me how and where I could find the most popular Nasi Briyani in Singapore and how I should take the bus. Till now, we still keep our contact by message :) Thank you Mustafa !  Ah ya ! I forgot to take a picture with you :(

I also met lots of new friends at there, friends from Europe, Vietnam, Philipines and the others. I spent 5 nights at Drop Inn :)

I would recommend Drop Inn to anyone who looking for somewhere to stay in the Singapore, I think I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Singapore!:D
